The victims were identified as 15-year-old Anushka Maurya and her mother Bitana Maurya, who died on the spot due to the severe impact. The younger daughter, 11-year-old Aaradhya Maurya, suffered minor injuries in the collision.
According to local residents, the three were walking along the roadside when a truck traveling from Maharajganj towards Raebareli lost control and ploughed into them. The force of the collision was so intense that it immediately claimed two lives, while the third victim was rushed to medical care by concerned locals.

Local residents quickly responded to the scene and transported the injured child, Aaradhya Maurya, to the community health centre (CHC) in Maharajganj.
