Specific parking prohibitions have been implemented between the stretch from the DC's bungalow to the Hockey Stadium and from Ranchi College More to the VVIP entry gate. The notification clarifies that movement of small vehicles will proceed normally in other parts of the city not directly affected by the celebrations.
Republic Day Preparations and Official Directives
The announcement comes as Ranchi prepares for Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar to unfurl the National Flag during the Republic Day ceremony at Morabadi Ground. A full dress rehearsal for the R-Day parade was successfully conducted on Saturday under the supervision of DC Manjunath Bhajantri and SSP Rakesh Ranjan.
During the rehearsal, DC Bhajantri issued clear directives to all deputed officers, emphasizing the importance of punctual presence at their respective deployment sites. He stressed the need for diligent discharge of assigned responsibilities to ensure the event proceeds smoothly and securely.
The comprehensive traffic plan reflects the administration's commitment to maintaining order while facilitating public participation in the national celebration. Residents and visitors are advised to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with traffic authorities to ensure a successful Republic Day observance in Ranchi.
