Incident Details
According to the complainant, an advocate, a cab driver endangered his life and subsequently launched a malicious social media campaign to tarnish his professional reputation. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon when the lawyer and his wife were traveling towards the high court on a scooter. The cab reportedly squeezed the two-wheeler towards the flyover's railing, narrowly avoiding a fatal accident. The encounter escalated into a heated confrontation.
Allegations Against the Driver
The complainant alleged that when he attempted to question the driver's conduct, the accused refused to exit his vehicle and instead unleashed a torrent of derogatory abuse. The driver reportedly issued open threats of physical assault and used his larger vehicle to obstruct the lawyer's path, preventing him from proceeding toward the court.
Social Media Campaign
The situation took a new turn the following day when the lawyer discovered that the driver had recorded a 'selective and manipulated' video of the argument, which was uploaded on social media. The lawyer contends that the video, which has garnered nearly 40,000 views, presents a false narrative.
