The engine was discovered in the Patthar Paniya forest near Kasiatu forest, within the limits of Simaria police station. According to police reports, local women who had ventured into the forest to collect mahua flowers were the first to spot the engine component. They promptly alerted the authorities, leading to its secure recovery.
Officer-in-charge of Simaria police station, Surya Pratap Singh, confirmed that the recovered engine part has been placed in safe custody and that investigative teams have been duly informed.
