In a significant breakthrough, the Delhi Police have apprehended six members of an alleged gang and recovered a cache of illegal weapons from their possession. The arrests were made late Tuesday night following a tip-off about suspicious activities in the national capital.

Acting on intelligence inputs, a police team from the Crime Branch laid a trap near the Yamuna Bank area. The suspects were intercepted while they were allegedly planning a criminal act. Upon searching them, the officers seized three country-made pistols, several live cartridges, and sharp-edged weapons. The accused have been identified as residents of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
