Patna: The Indian Railways will operate more than a dozen special trains from various locations under the Samastipur division of the East Central Railway (ECR) on June 17, 24, and 28 to facilitate candidates appearing in the Bihar police prohibition constable recruitment examination.
Special Train Routes and Schedule
According to Samastipur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Jyoti Prakash Mishra, all special trains will terminate at Patliputra Junction, ensuring candidates can reach their destinations conveniently. Three trains will originate from Muzaffarpur, while two each will run from Bettiah, Madhubani, and Samastipur. One special train each will be operated from Purnea Court, Dauram Madhepura, Saharsa, and Supaul.
Crowd Management and Additional Measures
Additional railway staff will be deployed at important stations to guide passengers and regulate crowd movement. The railways may press into operation a few more special trains if required to clear the rush of examinees. On June 14, the railways had already operated 13 special trains from Samastipur division alone.
The railways has worked closely with the district administration this time to assess passenger requirements and formulate a comprehensive transportation plan. Crowd management measures, special ticketing arrangements, and continuous monitoring of passenger movement will be undertaken to ensure the successful operation of the trains, Mishra said.
