Rehansh Borse was riding his bicycle with two other children. They were in the walking passage of the Anand Villa residency society at Jehangirpura. The young boy did not see the kite string stretched across his path.

Residents of the apartment complex rushed the severely injured boy to a private hospital in Rander town. Doctors examined him upon arrival. They declared him dead at the hospital.

Rehansh was the only son of Anmol Borse. His father works for the AM/NS company in Hazira. The family originally hails from Dhulia district in Maharashtra.
Anmol Borse was at his job when the tragedy occurred. He rushed to the hospital immediately after learning about his son's accident.
