A significant crowd assembled outside the Althan Police Station in Surat on Friday evening, attempting to storm the premises following an alleged molestation of a minor girl student. The incident, which occurred around 8 pm, saw the accused being swiftly taken into custody by the police.

According to Surat Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Nidhi Thakur, the 15-16-year-old girl was returning home from her coaching classes when a man on a two-wheeler allegedly harassed her. The accused was immediately apprehended and brought to the police station, where he remains in custody. The girl's parents and her teacher are present at the station to assist with the proceedings.
