An 11-year-old student was allegedly stabbed by a fellow student following an argument after school hours on Tuesday afternoon in Udhna, Surat. The incident occurred around 12:30 pm when students were returning home after classes.

The injured boy later informed his parents about the attack and was subsequently shifted to the Civil Hospital for treatment. He sustained injuries to his hip and thigh. The incident took place outside a Marathi-medium school run by the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) near Sumit Hospital in Udhna.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the victim and another student got into an argument over an unspecified issue while walking home. During the altercation, the accused student allegedly pulled out a knife that he had brought in his school bag and attacked the victim.
