A tragic road accident claimed the life of an 18-year-old youth in Surat on Monday morning. The incident occurred near Breadliner Circle under the jurisdiction of the Khatodara police station.

The victim has been identified as Prince Patel. According to police, the accident took place when Patel, who was riding a KTM sports bike, lost control of the vehicle at high speed. He was descending the flyover from the VNSGU side towards Breadliner Circle when the mishap occurred.
Investigators stated that Patel's bike hit the road divider after he lost control. The impact of the collision was extremely severe. Prince Patel succumbed to fatal head injuries on the spot. A critical detail noted by the police was that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
