In a shocking incident that has rocked Pune's medical community, the city police have arrested a 32-year-old software engineer for allegedly driving a married doctor couple to suicide through systematic harassment and intimidation.
Gopal Badane, working with a multinational tech company, was taken into custody on charges of abetment to suicide after Dr. Manish Laad and his wife Dr. Priyanka Laad ended their lives in their Pune residence.
The Tragic Discovery
The grim discovery was made when family members found the couple unconscious in their home. Despite immediate medical attention, both doctors were declared dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations revealed they had consumed a poisonous substance.
