Authorities stated that the tragic event unfolded at approximately 7:22 pm on February 23 within the jurisdiction of the Tilak Nagar police station. The victim, a minor, had been enjoying a game of cricket at Woodland Park when he became involved in a heated argument with a 12-year-old boy. This verbal dispute quickly escalated into a physical altercation, setting the stage for the subsequent deadly encounter.
Police investigations revealed that after the initial clash, the 12-year-old returned home and informed his cousins, aged 17 and 13, about the disagreement. The trio then made their way back to the park with the intent of confronting the 15-year-old.
Escalation and Fatal Consequences
At around 7:22 pm, the two groups faced off once more, leading to a brutal fight. During the intense scuffle, the 15-year-old sustained severe injuries to his neck and head, causing him to collapse unconscious at the scene. He was immediately rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for emergency medical attention.
Unfortunately, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead upon arrival, confirming the fatal outcome of the altercation. The swift response by authorities did not prevent this tragic loss of life.
