Police Rescue and Investigation Details

Berhampur Superintendent of Police Saravana Vivek M confirmed that a police team rescued the girl on Monday after receiving critical information about the incident. An investigation was immediately launched to uncover the full scope of the events. Preliminary inquiries reveal that the survivor, after fleeing her home, arrived in Berhampur by train four days prior to the assault. It was during this period that she came into contact with the 15-year-old boy involved in the case.

Sequence of Events Leading to the Assault

According to police reports, on Sunday night, the boy took the girl to his residence, where his mother was present.
