The violent altercation occurred in Tendua village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Sarai police station. According to police reports, the victim, identified as Raghunath Kol, reprimanded his son for failing to tie up a buffalo calf that was wandering freely around their property.
This seemingly trivial parental admonishment triggered an extreme reaction from the minor, who reportedly attacked his father with a wooden stick. The assault resulted in severe head injuries for Raghunath Kol, who succumbed to his wounds at the scene.
