Tejas Rajdhani Express Faces Bomb Scare, Delayed for 31 Minutes

The Tejas Rajdhani Express experienced a major security alert on Saturday night. Authorities halted the train for more than thirty minutes after receiving a bomb threat. The train was traveling from Delhi to Patna when the incident occurred.

Immediate Security Response

Railway officials received the alert from Delhi Control. They quickly stopped the train to conduct extensive security checks. Multiple agencies joined the operation to ensure passenger safety.

Commanding Officer RPF Aligarh Gulzar Singh provided details about the response. "Our entire Bomb Disposal Squad team, local police, Station House Officer, civil authorities, dog scouts, and fire brigade officers checked the train thoroughly," he told ANI. "We found nothing suspicious during the inspection."

Coordinated Search Operation

Security personnel worked together to inspect the train. The team included:

  • Bomb Disposal Squad members
  • Local police officers
  • Station authorities
  • Dog squad teams
  • Civil administration officials
  • Fire brigade personnel

They examined every compartment carefully. After completing the search, authorities confirmed the threat was a hoax. The train remained stationary for exactly 31 minutes before receiving clearance to continue its journey.

This bomb scare follows another recent threat on Indian railways. Weeks earlier, the Kashi Express faced a similar situation while traveling from Gorakhpur to Mumbai. In that case, Mau Superintendent of Police Elamaran reported that investigators found no explosives or suspicious items.

Railway security remains on high alert following these incidents. Officials emphasize their commitment to passenger safety while dealing with such threats promptly and professionally.
