Naresh further stated that Kumar had threatened to kill the entire family after being booked under POCSO. "Since the case was booked he was not..." Naresh said, trailing off, indicating that the accused had been out on bail or not in custody at the time of the murders.

Legal and Social Implications

The case highlights the dangers faced by victims and their families when accused individuals are not adequately monitored or detained. The POCSO Act is designed to protect children from sexual offenses, but this incident raises questions about the enforcement of bail conditions and the safety of witnesses and victims.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances that led to the murders. The accused is in custody and will face charges including murder and violation of POCSO provisions.

The community in Rangareddy is in shock, with local leaders demanding stricter action against repeat offenders and better protection for victims' families.
