Bengaluru: In a brazen early morning incident, three unidentified individuals robbed a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) official of two mobile phones and an undisclosed amount of cash on Sunday. The victim, identified as K Mahipal, was on his way to his office located within the KSRTC bus terminal when the assailants intercepted him near Sangam Circle, close to Majestic, at approximately 5:30 am.

Details of the Incident

According to police, the three miscreants blocked Mahipal's path and, under threat, forcibly took his two mobile phones and a wallet containing cash. The exact amount of cash stolen has not been disclosed by the victim. An investigating officer stated, “Threatening him, they grabbed the two mobile phones and a wallet with cash in it. Mahipal has not mentioned how much cash was there in the wallet.”

Police Investigation Underway

Authorities have registered a case and are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspects. The police have also urged anyone with information to come forward. The incident highlights concerns about security in the Majestic area, a major transit hub in Bengaluru, especially during early hours.
