Thief breaks into Ratlam shop twice in one night, steals Rs 92,000

A man broke into a garment shop located barely 300 metres away from a police station twice in one night and escaped with Rs 92,000 in cash and a laptop in Ratlam. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed inside the shop.

The Incident

The theft took place at Umbrella Kids Garments. The shop owner, Hatim Qutubuddin Pakawala, stated that the incident came to light on Friday morning when his younger brother Hussain reached the store around 10:30 am and found the shutter wide open.

Thinking that an employee might have opened the shop early, the family contacted the staff member who usually arrives first, only to learn that he had not yet reached the premises. A check inside revealed that cash kept in the drawer and a box was missing.
