The deceased have been identified as Ambadas Damu Petare, Shrikant Anant Jadhav, and Pramod Shankar Pawar, all passengers in the car. The injured include Navnath Bhujbal (32), Akshay Gaikwad (31), Bhanudas Gaikwad (27), Swapnil Bhujbal (36), and the driver Awdhesh Yadav (37), who sustained severe injuries.

A case has been registered against Yadav under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), specifically section 106-1 for causing death by a rash and negligent act.
