Koderma: Three people died in separate incidents in Koderma on Wednesday.
First Incident: Drowning in Rani Talab
Shahnawaz Ansari, 18, a resident of Bagridih village in Domchanch, drowned while bathing in Rani Talab at Raidih under Nawalshahi police station. He slipped into deep water and was rescued before being taken to Koderma Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Suman Yadav, the officer-in-charge of Nawalshahi police station, stated that the body was sent for post-mortem examination and an investigation is underway.
Second Incident: Fall into Open Well
In another incident, Titli Kumari, 12, died after falling into an open well in a forest near Farenda village while collecting mahua flowers with friends. Vikas Paswan, officer-in-charge of Koderma police station, said no complaint has been filed, but an autopsy will establish the cause of death.
Third Incident: Suspected Suicide
In the third incident, in Telaiya, Ritu Kumari, 22, allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan in her bedroom. Family members rushed her to Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
