The accused were arrested on the spot, and a case has been registered under the Arms Act.

During the operation, the police recovered a Glock pistol along with a magazine and five live cartridges from their possession. The seizure was made while the team was on routine patrol duty.
Legal Action
A case has been filed under Sections 28 (6), (7), and (8) of the Arms Act at the Sarai Amanat Khan police station. The accused remain in custody as investigations continue. Authorities have not yet disclosed any potential motives or links to other criminal activities.
Police Vigilance
The arrest highlights ongoing efforts by Punjab Police to curb the illegal possession of weapons in the region.
