TTD Parakamani Case Investigation Stalls After Key Witness Murder

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Parakamani case has effectively gone cold since the mysterious murder of former TTD assistant vigilance and security officer Y Satish Kumar near Komali railway tracks in Anantapur district on November 10, 2025. This development has raised serious concerns about the progress of the high-profile investigation.

Key Witness Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances

While 114 days have passed since former TTD AVSO and then railway inspector Satish Kumar was discovered dead on the railway tracks near Tadipatri, the investigation into his murder appears to have stalled. Coincidentally, his death occurred on the very day he was scheduled to present himself before CID officials for questioning in Tirupati regarding the Parakamani case.

Initial post-mortem reports confirmed that Satish Kumar may have been murdered, prompting the Anantapur district police wing to form multiple special teams to investigate his death case, which was directly linked to the Parakamani murder investigation.

Satish Kumar's Crucial Role in Parakamani Case

It may be recalled that Satish Kumar served as the key witness and complainant in the Parakamani case. He was also the person who effected a compromise deal with the Parakamani case accused, CV Ravi Kumar, at the Lok Adalat court in Tirupati. This compromise eventually led to the closure of the Parakamani case in September 2023.

However, after a Tirupati-based journalist filed a writ petition in the Andhra Pradesh high court last year, the court directed the CID to reinvestigate the case and the ACB to examine properties belonging to the Parakamani case accused. Just as the CID investigation began gaining momentum, Satish Kumar was found dead under these suspicious circumstances.

Family Demands Justice and Investigation Acceleration

As more than 114 days have elapsed since Satish's mysterious death was reported, his family members fear that the case investigation has gone into cold storage. Speaking to media, Y Hari, Satish's brother, appealed to the state government and police authorities to expedite the case investigation and render justice to the grieving family.

"My brother was an honest police officer and his death shattered the entire family," Hari stated emphatically. "We demand justice and hope the police exposes the culprits involved in Satish's murder mystery."

Satish Kumar was working as an inspector at the Guntakal government railway police at the time of his death. His murder occurred on the day he was supposed to be examined for the second time by the CID, raising questions about potential connections between his death and the Parakamani case investigation.

Broader Implications for Justice System

The stalling of both investigations—the Parakamani case and Satish Kumar's murder—highlights challenges in the justice delivery system when key witnesses face threats. The family's ongoing wait for answers underscores the need for more robust witness protection mechanisms and timely investigative processes in sensitive cases involving religious institutions and potential corruption.
