He was immediately rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Zamania for medical treatment. Investigations revealed that Qureshi has an extensive criminal record, with a total of 12 cases registered against him in Ghazipur and Bhabhua districts of Bihar.

His accomplice, Dilnawaz alias Shahrukh, a resident of Subhan Toli Kasba, was also apprehended during the operation. The quick response within 12 hours of the robbery incident demonstrates improved coordination and intelligence-gathering capabilities among law enforcement agencies.

Police officials have emphasized that such encounters are conducted strictly in self-defence when criminals pose a direct threat to officers or public safety. The recovery of weapons and cash from the arrested individuals is expected to aid in further investigations and potentially link them to other unsolved crimes in the region.
