Prayagraj: Two elderly people lost their lives in separate road accidents reported under the limits of Shankargarh police station here on Tuesday. In the first incident, a 62-year-old man was crushed to death after being hit by a speeding tractor near Takrai village on Tuesday morning. The second incident involved a 60-year-old woman, identified as Surajkali, who was mowed down by a speeding truck near Gara Katra village. Both bodies have been sent for postmortem examination. Police have registered cases and are investigating the accidents.
