In a tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr district, two men have been apprehended by the police in connection with the brutal murder of a five-year-old girl. The arrests were made following a late-night encounter near the Sikandrabad police station area on Saturday.

According to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Tejveer Singh, the police received critical information on Friday evening. The report stated that a young girl was found lying with serious injuries in a locality under the Sikandrabad police station's jurisdiction. Her family, with immediate assistance from the police, rushed her to a nearby community health centre. Tragically, doctors at the centre declared her dead upon arrival.
A formal case was registered based on a complaint filed by the girl's grieving father. In his statement, the father made a grave allegation. He pointed the finger at two young men who were living on rent in the same building as his family. He not only accused them of the murder but also expressed a deep-seated apprehension that the men had sexually assaulted his daughter before killing her.
