The investigation took a dramatic turn earlier this month when one suspect, Arokiya John Bosco, 40, surrendered in court. Subsequent inquiries led to the arrest of three more individuals, including the MLA's daughter-in-law, Abinaya, 30, Abinaya's friend Bhavani, 30, and her husband Suresh Kumar, 31, who was in an extramarital relationship with Abinaya.

Police continue to investigate the case and are on the lookout for any other suspects involved in the burglary.
