The bodies of two men from Uttar Pradesh, bearing visible injury marks, were discovered on the Jhajjar-Gurugram road near Sehwag International School on Monday morning. Police have registered a murder case against unidentified persons and launched an investigation, suspecting that the victims were killed elsewhere and their bodies dumped at the site.
Victims Identified as UP Natives
The deceased have been identified as Kamil, 52, and Irshad, 40, both residents of the same village in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh. According to police, the two men were involved in property-related work in Neemrana, Rajasthan. It is suspected that they may have been killed at another location and their bodies were later transported and left on the Jhajjar-Gurugram road.
Discovery and Initial Response
The incident came to light early Monday morning when passersby spotted the bodies and alerted the local police. A police team immediately rushed to the scene, and forensic experts were called in to collect evidence. The bodies were initially taken to the Civil Hospital in Jhajjar as their identities were unknown at the time. Later, family members arrived at the hospital and confirmed the identities of the deceased.
Investigation Underway
Police are examining CCTV footage from the surrounding areas to gather clues about the crime. Paramjit, SHO of the Sadar police station, stated that the case is being investigated from multiple angles. “We are analysing CCTV footage and all possible leads. The case will be solved soon,” he added. Authorities have not ruled out any motives, including a possible property dispute linked to the victims' work in Rajasthan.
