The named accused include Ashok Kumar; his three sons—Laddu, Sawan, and Baba; Prince and Raman Kumar, sons of Vicky Kumar; Karan Rataul; and a woman named Rani. According to Dhuri DSP Gurpreet Singh, the killings stemmed from an old personal enmity, though further details have not been disclosed.

Investigation and Manhunt Underway

The case was registered based on a statement from Dev Kumar's father. Police have launched a manhunt to arrest the accused, who are believed to be on the run. DSP Gurpreet Singh stated that the accused planned the attack and executed it swiftly. Notably, Vicky Kumar, a former president of the Nagar Council, is already lodged in jail in connection with another case. His sons, Prince and Raman Kumar, are among the named suspects.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community in Dhuri, a town in Sangrur district.
