Teenager Brutally Murdered by Uncle Over Suspected Affair in Anantapur

In a shocking and tragic incident, a 17-year-old boy was brutally murdered by his own uncle near Pamurayi village in Anantapur rural mandal on Saturday. The uncle, driven by suspicion of an illicit relationship between the teenager and his wife, allegedly bludgeoned the victim to death using cement bricks in a premeditated attack.

Long-Standing Suspicion Leads to Fatal Confrontation

According to Anantapur rural police inspector N Sekhar, the uncle had harbored suspicions for an extended period that the boy, an intermediate student at a local college, was involved in an affair with his wife. This suspicion had previously sparked several heated altercations between the two, with the uncle issuing stern warnings to the teenager to stay away from his spouse.

The police investigation revealed that the tension had been simmering for months, creating a volatile family environment that ultimately erupted into violence.

Pretext Meeting Turns Deadly

On Saturday night, the accused uncle, reportedly in an inebriated state, lured the boy to a meeting under the false pretext of resolving their ongoing dispute. He took the unsuspecting teenager to an isolated cement bricks factory located on the outskirts of Pamurayi village.

At the factory, the discussion quickly escalated into another intense argument. In a fit of uncontrollable rage, the uncle allegedly first attacked the boy with beer bottles before using cement bricks to bludgeon him to death in a particularly brutal assault. After committing the crime, the accused fled the scene, leaving the victim's body behind.

Police Response and Ongoing Investigation

Law enforcement officials promptly visited the crime scene upon receiving reports of the incident. The victim's body was subsequently shifted to the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Anantapur for post-mortem examination and further procedures.

A formal case has been registered by the Anantapur rural police, and an intensive manhunt has been launched to apprehend the fleeing accused. Authorities are pursuing all available leads to track down the uncle and bring him to justice for this heinous crime.
