Upon receiving the alert, a team from Kherki Daula police station swiftly reached the location and carefully retrieved the body from the water. Preliminary examination revealed the deceased was likely between 30-35 years old and had been in the water for approximately 24 hours, causing significant swelling.
Police officials noted a small injury on the neck of the deceased, though the exact cause remains uncertain. "An injury was found on the neck, but it may have occurred when he fell… he might have struck something. It is not confirmed yet," revealed a police officer involved in the case.
