Unidentified Man Found Dead Outside Patna Golf Club in Patna
In a concerning incident, the body of an unidentified man was discovered outside the Patna Golf Club on Bailey Road in Patna on Wednesday night. The discovery was made by local residents around 9:30 PM, who promptly alerted the police authorities.
Details of the Deceased and Initial Police Response
According to police reports, the deceased was found lying on the ground, dressed in a dark blue T-shirt, blue jeans, and red sports shoes. Secretariat SDPO Annu Kumari stated that there were no visible injury marks on the body, which initially ruled out murder as a cause of death.
She elaborated, "Preliminary observations suggest the death could have been due to a heart attack or other natural causes. However, the exact cause will only be confirmed after the forensic report is available."
Forensic Investigation and Ongoing Police Efforts
A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) conducted a thorough inspection of the site, and the area was cordoned off to preserve evidence. Police personnel from multiple stations, including Secretariat, Shastri Nagar, and Airport, were present at the scene to manage the situation.
SDPO Annu Kumari added, "The body has been sent to IGIMS-Patna for a post-mortem examination to determine the precise cause of death. Additionally, CCTV footage from nearby areas is being analysed as part of the investigation. So far, no eyewitnesses have come forward to provide further details."
Police estimates indicate that the deceased may be in his 40s, but his identity remains unknown. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to gather more information and await the forensic results to clarify the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
