In a concerning development, burglars struck two prominent temples in the Manjalpur area of Vadodara, Gujarat, making off with cash from donation boxes. According to police reports, the first burglary occurred at the Sai Mandir located near Jupiter Crossroads. In this incident, thieves forcibly broke open the donation box and absconded with approximately Rs 1.5 lakh in cash. Interestingly, the theft took place four days prior to its discovery, with temple authorities only noticing the missing funds later before approaching law enforcement.
In a separate but similar incident, burglars targeted the Jalaram Temple in the same vicinity. This time, the perpetrators took the entire donation box with them before fleeing the scene, leaving temple officials shocked and dismayed by the audacious act.
