Prayagraj: A group of miscreants allegedly assaulted a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) functionary and his friend near Bahadurganj area late Friday night after they objected to the harassment of a woman. The incident occurred when Akash Agrahari and his companion raised concerns over eve-teasing and a parking dispute near Mansarovar crossing.
FIR Lodged
Based on Agrahari's complaint, an FIR has been registered at Kotwali police station against two named accused and ten others under Sections 115(2), 352, 351(3), 191(2), and 109(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The accused have been identified, but their names have not been disclosed by the police.

According to Agrahari, the group attacked him and his friend when they intervened in the alleged eve-teasing of a woman.
