Vijayawada: The One Town police have arrested two individuals on charges of allegedly selling MDMA drugs in the city, after reportedly bringing the contraband from Rajasthan. The accused have been identified as K Shaitan and Mangilal.
Details of the Arrest
During the operation, police seized approximately six grams of MDMA from their possession. According to officials, the duo was allegedly involved in supplying the synthetic drug to customers across different parts of the city. Acting on specific intelligence, the police conducted a raid and took the suspects into custody. During the search, officers recovered MDMA packets and other materials linked to the case.
Legal Proceedings and Investigation
A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway to identify possible buyers and any larger drug supply network connected to them. Police are also trying to determine how long the accused had been operating in Vijayawada and whether more individuals are involved in the racket.
