In a shocking incident from Jharkhand's Palamu district, a 22-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly poisoning her husband and then strangling him to death. The arrest was confirmed by police on Tuesday, with the incident occurring under the Navajaypur Police Station limits in Katri village.

Sadar Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Rajesh Yadav stated that the accused has confessed to the crime during interrogation. Police have recovered crucial evidence from the scene, including:
- The cloth allegedly used in strangling the 24-year-old victim, which bore traces of vomit
- The accused's mobile phone
- Other forensic evidence suggesting foul play
The investigation began when the victim's father, Satyendra Yadav, lodged a formal complaint on Monday, stating that his son Pankaj Kumar Yadav had died under suspicious circumstances.
Discovery of the Crime Scene
A special investigation team was immediately formed to probe the matter. Upon reaching the spot, the team discovered the deceased's body lying inside a room, with his wife present at the location.
