Twenty-four-year-old Richa Rajoriya was riding a two-wheeler with her brother, Ashu Rajoriya, when their lives changed forever. A speeding dumper struck their vehicle on the Indore–Ichhapur road in Barwaha. Police officials confirmed the dumper driver was attempting to overtake another vehicle when the collision happened.
The impact proved catastrophic. Both riders were thrown violently from their bike. Richa, who was undergoing training as a constable at a police training centre in Indore, died instantly at the scene. Her brother, Ashu, survived the crash without serious injuries despite being flung several meters away.

The siblings were traveling from Indore to Omkareshwar for religious darshan when their journey ended in tragedy. Ashu Rajoriya, a native of Gohad in Bhind district, serves as an assistant jailer at Indore Central Jail. His younger sister Richa was just beginning her career in law enforcement.
