A 26-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by two men inside a private bus in Delhi's outer district, police said on Tuesday. The incident occurred late Monday night when the woman boarded a private bus from a bus stop in the Bawana area. The accused, identified as Ravi (28) and Sunny (25), allegedly took her to an isolated spot and committed the crime.

The victim managed to escape and reached a nearby police station, where she lodged a complaint. Acting swiftly, police teams scanned CCTV footage and apprehended both accused within hours of the incident. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North) Ravi Kumar Singh confirmed the arrests, stating that the bus was also seized. The accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including gangrape, and further investigation is underway.
