A passing-out parade of 595 newly trained women constables of the 2025–26 direct recruitment batch was held at the police lines in Jhansi on Sunday morning. The parade was led by Tanu Sharma as the first parade commander, followed by Neha and Monia as second and third commanders, respectively.
During the parade, the women constables marched in synchronised steps, divided into ten groups. The chief guest of the event, additional director general of police, Kanpur Zone, Alok Singh, took the salute and inspected the groups. He was flanked by newly appointed district magistrate Gaurang Rathi and SSP BBGTS Murthy, along with other senior officials.
ADG Alok Singh appreciated their discipline, physical fitness, coordination, and professional skills acquired during their rigorous training. He also hailed the growing participation of women in the police force. He encouraged the recruits to uphold integrity, discipline, and dedication while serving the public, emphasizing their crucial role in maintaining law and order.
During the ceremony, outstanding constables were honoured for their excellent performance in both indoor and outdoor training subjects. Shivani Sharma emerged as the top performer in overall outdoor subjects, while Manshoori secured first position in indoor subjects. Asmita Dixit was declared the all-round best trainee, highlighting her excellence across all fields of the training session.
All the new recruits, after their 10 months of rigorous training, will soon be taking charge at various districts across the state.
