AAP Aims to End Corruption in Haryana: Sushil Gupta

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has set its sights on ending corruption in Haryana, with state president Sushil Gupta vowing to root out the menace. Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, Gupta outlined the party's strategy to bring transparency and accountability to the state's governance.

Zero Tolerance for Corruption

Gupta stated that AAP would adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. He emphasized that the party would ensure strict action against corrupt officials and politicians, regardless of their position. "We have seen how AAP has transformed Delhi and Punjab by cracking down on corruption. We will replicate that model in Haryana," he said.

Key Initiatives Planned

The state president listed several initiatives that AAP would implement if voted to power. These include setting up an anti-corruption helpline, fast-tracking corruption cases in special courts, and introducing a whistleblower protection law. He also promised to make the Right to Information Act more effective and ensure timely disposal of complaints.

Gupta accused the ruling parties in Haryana of perpetuating a culture of bribery and nepotism. "The people of Haryana are fed up with the rampant corruption. AAP is the only party that can clean up the system," he asserted.

Appeal to Voters

He urged the citizens to support AAP in the upcoming assembly elections. "We need your mandate to bring about real change. Together, we can make Haryana a corruption-free state," Gupta concluded.
