- S Thangaraj, son of Hindu Munnani leader Kadeswara Subramaniam, has been fielded in Tiruppur (South).

In southern Tamil Nadu, strategic inclusions feature S Vijayadharani, who defected from Congress to join BJP last year, contesting from Vilavancode. MR Gandhi has been allocated the Nagercoil seat. Annamalai's political journey within the BJP has seen notable shifts. The initial setback occurred when he was replaced as the state party president. His influence further diminished following the reconciliation between the BJP and the AIADMK, a deal negotiated by Union Minister Amit Shah and AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami in April 2025. Subsequently, Annamalai was notably excluded from critical election seat-sharing negotiations and core decision-making committees.
By February 2026, his formal role was reduced to that of poll in-charge for merely six constituencies. He later stepped away from active party organizational roles, citing personal reasons, while continuing background campaign efforts in areas like Kavundampalayam and Singanallur in Coimbatore—constituencies that were ultimately not allocated to the BJP for contesting.
