BJP Intensifies Attack on Mamata Government, Demands Supreme Court Intervention in Warehouse Tragedy

"A new example of the extreme limits of misgovernance is coming before us every day," Paswan asserted. "Recently, the Calcutta High Court observed that in West Bengal, it is not the rule of law, but the rule of the ruler that prevails. The incidents occurring daily clearly validate this assessment."

"No fire safety norms were followed, mandatory No Objection Certificates and safety audits were neglected, and accountability remains elusive. Action has been limited to the godown manager and deputy manager, while larger questions about corporate responsibility remain unanswered."
Paswan specifically questioned why no action has been taken against the CEO of Wow! Momo, whose warehouse was the site of the tragedy.
