BJP national president Nitin Nabin has declared that the party will contest the 2027 Uttarakhand assembly elections under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. During a visit to Dehradun, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Dhami's work, further bolstering the chief minister's stature. At an event in Haldwani, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh described Dhami as a “formidable leader,” reinforcing the party's confidence in his abilities.
Home Minister Amit Shah, during a visit to Haridwar, also lauded the state government's policies as people-centric and expressed confidence in the BJP securing a hat-trick victory in the 2027 elections. These statements collectively underscore the party's unified support for Dhami as they gear up for the state polls.
