Expressway Safety Concerns

The Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway, which was inaugurated in March last year, has witnessed multiple accidents since its opening. The stretch between Hoskote in Bengaluru Rural and the Kolar district border has been particularly prone to mishaps. To address safety concerns, the KGF police have implemented measures such as installing sign boards and speed guns at various locations along the expressway.
