According to Ballia ASP (South) Sanjay Verma, the victim was attending the wedding of his cousin sister when an individual opened fire in celebration. The boy was hit by the bullet and died on the spot. The firing caused panic among the attendees, and the critically injured boy was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Police Action

An FIR was registered based on the complaint of the boy's father. Police teams have been conducting raids to apprehend the accused. ASP Sanjay Verma confirmed that the man who fired the shot has been identified, and authorities expect to arrest him soon. Despite the tragedy, elders ensured that the wedding proceeded as planned.
