Prayagraj: On Tuesday evening, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the inaugural Ganga Aarti held at the Sangam to commemorate Ganga Dussehra during his visit to the city. The event followed his address at the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation (PMC), where a program marked three years of the civic body. From there, the CM proceeded to the Sangam, where elaborate arrangements, including a specially constructed floating jetty, were made for the ceremony.
CM Offers Prayers at Sangam
Yogi spent approximately 15 minutes at the venue, offering prayers to Maa Ganga as priests conducted Vedic chants and rituals. The serene atmosphere underscored the spiritual significance of the occasion.

Visit to Bade Hanuman Temple on Bada Mangal
On the occasion of Bada Mangal, the CM visited the historic Bade Hanuman Temple, where he offered prayers. Chief priest and mahant Balveer Giri accompanied him. The temple was specially decorated, and a 'chhappan bhog' (a feast of 56 items) was presented. Religious rituals, group recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa and Sundarkand, and bhajan-kirtan continued throughout the day.
Security and Departure
Security was heightened across key locations, particularly at the Sangam and temple premises, during the visit. After concluding his engagements, the CM returned to Lucknow from Bamrauli airport in the evening.
