Congress leader V D Satheesan has launched a fierce offensive against the ruling CPI(M) government in Kerala, asserting the existence of a clandestine understanding between the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Bharatiya Janata Party. This accusation comes as the state gears up for crucial Assembly elections, with Satheesan claiming this alliance is designed to manipulate electoral outcomes and shield key figures from legal scrutiny.
Central Agencies Accused of Inaction in Major Corruption Cases
Satheesan specifically highlighted the perceived failure of central investigative agencies, including the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), to pursue significant corruption allegations.
