Congress MLA Slams Modi Over Fuel Crisis, Inflation

Nagpur: Congress MLA Vijay Wadettiwar launched a sharp attack on the Centre and the state government on Wednesday over fuel shortage, inflation, and administrative failures, questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi's priorities at a time when common citizens were struggling for basic necessities.

Modi Gifting Chocolates While Indians Face Hardship

Referring to reports of Modi gifting chocolates to the Italy PM during an international visit, the Bramhapuri legislator remarked, "Modiji is giving chocolates while Indians are being handed only hardship, inflation and shortages."

NEET Paper Leak and Farmers' Plight

In a media statement, he said one chocolate should instead be given to 23 lakh students whose dreams were shattered due to the alleged NEET paper leak. He also referred to farmers burdened by debt and citizens waiting in queues for petrol and diesel.

Fuel Queues Under Scorching Sun

"People are standing in queues for fuel under the scorching sun while the government is busy with publicity," Wadettiwar said. He cited incidents across Maharashtra, including an alleged attack on a petrol pump employee in Jalgaon, people waiting for hours for fuel in Buldhana and Akola, and reports of police vehicles in Nagpur facing diesel shortages while searching for a missing girl.
