Upcoming Visits to Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

These visits aim to ensure all logistical and security arrangements are in place ahead of the crucial assembly elections.

Assembly Elections Scheduled for April-May

Assembly polls are due in the four states—Assam, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Kerala—as well as Puducherry, with the election period expected to span April and May. An official announcement regarding the exact dates is projected to be made in the second half of March, following the completion of these preparatory tours.

  • Chief Secretaries and Directors General of Police to coordinate security measures.
  • District Magistrates to oversee administrative readiness at the grassroots level.
