The Indian Motorsport Club (IMSC) has officially announced the IMSC Off Road Trophy 2026, a highly anticipated national-level off-road competition. This exciting event is scheduled to take place at Oddoor Farm in Ganjimutt, Mangaluru, on March 28 and 29, 2026. The announcement was made by IMSC President Musa Sherif on Monday, highlighting the significance of this milestone for the club.

A Landmark Celebration for IMSC's Legacy

This event holds special importance as it commemorates two major achievements for the IMSC: 25 years of dedicated involvement in motorsport and the hosting of its 400th event. Musa Sherif emphasized that this dual celebration is a powerful testament to the club's enduring legacy and its substantial contributions to the growth and development of motorsport across India. "It is a testament to IMSC's enduring legacy and contribution to the sport in India," Sherif stated, underscoring the club's commitment to fostering competitive racing culture.

Diverse Competition Categories and Lucrative Prizes

The IMSC Off Road Trophy 2026 will feature a diverse and extensive grid of 11 distinct categories, with competitions strategically spread across the two-day schedule. On the first day, participants will compete in eight categories:

  • Ladies
  • Junior
  • Masters
  • Jimmy
  • Thar 2020
  • SUV
  • Stock Diesel
  • Stock Petrol

The second day will host three additional challenging categories:

  • Modified Petrol
  • Modified Diesel
  • Open Class

Competitors will battle fiercely for an impressive array of rewards, including cash prizes, prestigious trophies, and various goodies, with the total prize pool valued at an attractive Rs 15 lakh, as confirmed by Sherif.

Oddoor Farm has been selected as the venue for its perfect terrain, which is designed to rigorously test both the capabilities of the vehicles and the skills of the drivers. To ensure a seamless and safe event, a dedicated team of over 50 experienced motorsport officials has been assembled. Ashwin Naik, the race director for the event, provided insights into the expected scale of participation. The club anticipates welcoming over 400 competitors from across the nation, showcasing a wide range of off-road vehicles and driving talent. Additionally, a substantial spectator turnout of more than 5,000 motorsport enthusiasts is projected, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere at Oddoor Farm.
