Haryana CM Saini Accuses Congress of Opposing Women's Reservation Bill
Haryana CM Saini Slams Congress Over Women's Reservation

Ambala: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Congress party during a women's torch march in Ambala, accusing it of opposing the 33% reservation for women in legislatures. Addressing a 'Mahila Aakrosh Mashal Yatra' organized by the BJP's women's wing, Saini stated that the party would face the consequences of 'disrespecting women' by opposing the Nari Shakti Vandan Amendment Act.

Women Will Respond Decisively

Saini asserted that women would respond decisively in elections. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the central government was committed to implementing 33% reservation for women in Parliament and state assemblies. The Chief Minister accused the Congress and the opposition bloc of trying to stall the Bill in Parliament and criticized their absence during Haryana's special session on the issue.

State Government Initiatives Highlighted

Highlighting the state government's initiatives, Saini cited subsidized LPG cylinders and access to clean drinking water. He said welfare schemes were aimed at farmers, the poor, youth, and women. With Ambala civic polls approaching, he urged voters to support BJP candidates across wards for a decisive mandate.
